Paul
aka B-Boy Poo-D-Roc
Son of Choreographer/Creative Director of KR3TS Violeta Galagarza
A
preview of Noah in action
Lil' Noah, age four, believe it or not, has a pretty impressive resume
under his belt. The mind blowing image of the tot doing a handstand at
the age of two is embedded in the KR3TA logo. Most recently, that logo
was inaugurated into the Graffiti Hall Of Fame for public view on 106th
Street and Park Avenue in NYC.
The youngest member of KR3TS has performed at over 100 shows locally,
nationwide, and abroad. They include The Battle at Jimmy’s Bronx
Cafe (B-Boy Event), aired on ESPN2, shows at NBC’s Rockefeller Center,
The Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, Canada, a TV show aired in Japan,
and The Aaron Davis Hall Show, to name a few. He has also been featured
in the autobiography entitled "We B-Girlz", Selecciones (Readers
Digest Magazine), The New York Daily News, The New York Post and many
more publications.
New York's Hip Hop Radio station, Powerhouse 105.1 FM'S on air radio
personality Cherry Martinez, who has visited and actively participated
in KR3TS dance rehearsals on numerous occasions said, "I was in awe…I
couldn't believe my eyes!" as she recalled her first time witnessing
Noah in action. The tot's love for dance and music quickly became evident
back when the baby boy wonder would enthusiastically bop around in his
walker at the sound of beats and rhythms. By the age of one and a half,
Noah began to imitate the older dancers at rehearsals; it was then that
his unbelievable gift came to light.
While most kids are entertained by cartoons, Noah much rather take control
of the living room television set and play his mother's dance videos-a
media collection containing 16 plus years of KR3TS performances and rehearsals.
Not only does he become hypnotized by the TV, while studying the moves
play by play, he'll enthusiastically say, "I wanna' do that!"
Then he'll stand up in front of the screen, move from side to side, and
duplicate the moves he sees and admires without any guidance or instruction
what so ever. He'll keep rewinding the tape until he has the routine down
pat. Once he teaches himself the moves, with an ear to ear grin the little
voice says, "You see? I did it!"
Before turning two years old, Noah began memorizing movie scripts from
his favorite movies. At the age of two, he then began acting out the scripts
and dancing at shows all around the country and abroad. At last years
annual Graffiti Hall Of Fame Ceremony in Spanish Harlem when Noah saw
all of the B-Boys and Girls dancing on the cardboard he went to straight
to the cardboard dance floor and waited for his turn. All he wanted to
do was have fun by doing what he does best. Noah's 360 degree head spins,
coordinated leg and hand movements, popping and locking, back flips, and
hand stands, caused a lot of jaw dropping-Break Dancing legends in attendance,
such as Crazy Legs, were dumbfounded by Noah’s rare ability as they
began to circle him. He once again became the life of the party and undoubtedly
acquired more fans as the host of the venue playfully shouted out, "Watch
out Crazy Legs, pretty soon he’s going to be taking your place!"
Noah is an inspiration to KR3TS and is loved by all who witness him. While
regularly motivating others around him and knowing what it takes to move
the crowd-seeing Noah Paul in action is living proof that anything is
possible!
